On July 18, the warplanes of the Israeli regime’s army attacked targets in the village of Majdel Selm in southern Lebanon. As a result of this attack, 6 people were martyred and 13 others were injured.
The attack is said to be the deadliest Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon since the beginning of the war, and it is necessary to wait for Hezbollah’s decisive and heavy response.
After the attack, the mayor of occupied city of Safed warned Israeli settlers to be wary of a possible Hezbollah attack in response to an airstrike on Majdel Selm.
Minutes after the attack on the Lebanese village, Hezbollah announced the martyrdom of two of its fighters, Ali Jaafar Ma’touq with the jihadi name “Habib Ma’touq”, and Muhammad Hassan Mustafa with the jihadi name “Murtada”.
Some Hebrew-language media outlets claimed that Martyr Ali Jaafar Ma’touq was one of the field commanders of Hezbollah’s al-Hajj Radwan Force in southern Lebanon.
