Latest Updates on Yemen 9 December 2018; Frontlines Situation and Sweden Negotiations
Muhammad AbulSalam: Sanaa airport reopening only with cease-fire and siege end. War in Yemen is not only between Yemenis; foreigners pursuing their benefits committed crime against Yemen.
1. Sweden Negotiations:
– Saudi supported team leaving resulted in unfinished details of POWs exchange.
– Head of Mansoor Hadi team: We did not talk about establishing government and its political procedure but we are ready to share the government with Ansar Allah if they submit their weapon to the government.
– Muhammad AbulSalam: Sanaa airport reopening only with cease-fire and siege end. War in Yemen is not only between Yemenis; foreigners pursuing their benefits committed crime against Yemen. Under these circumstances there is no choice for us but to confront enemy coalition. Riyadh hindering POWs exchange.
2. Yemen Army spokesperson:
Saudi Coalition fighters attacked 15 times western coast, Nihm and Sanaa.
From recent days Coalition attacks in Nihm front (northeast of Sanaa), 13 of them were defeated and 455 persons were killed or injured and transported to Marib hospital.
3. Saadah:
Defending against Saudi Coalition attacks in north of Baqem by Ansar Allah and people’s committees after 12 hours engagement with support of Saudi Coalition fighters and Apache helicopters.
4. Hajjah:
Defeating Saudi Coalition attack in east of Nar and north of Haradh.
5. Nihm(northeast of Sanaa):
Saudi Coalition attacks were defeated and according to ISWN sources, from the line between Al Qarn mount and Yam heights and between them (Barran and Al Hawl) until Fardhat Nihm base are under AnsarAllah fire.
Barran and Al Hawl villages are frontlines.
