US. Bringing Extensive Military Equipment to Iraq

ISWNews Analysis Group: According to available information, US army is transporting extensive military equipment to Ain Assad airbase in Anbar province.
US has brought 500 military vehicles from Jordan’s border to Ain Assad airbase. Some sources spotted a caravan and transporting 70 vehicles to airbase yesterday.
The caravan was escorted by American warplanes.
The objective of US to bring this much of equipment to Iraq is not clear yet, but yesterday, US special envoy in coalition against ISIS, in meeting with Barzani said that their collaboration with Iraq’s Kurdistan will continue. The spokesperson of the coalition also said that more than 100 Humvees and artillery and communication equipment are submitted to Iqlim Kurdistan.
