According to statements made by Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Qadiri, the commander of the Yemeni Coastal Defense Forces, the Ansar Allah movement carried out a missile operation against the MSC Alanya ship in the west of Hanish Island. He stated that the Yemeni army’s objective in carrying out such operations is to stop Israel’s aggression against the Gaza Strip and prevent the movement of ships towards Israeli ports.
