Former Syrian ambassador Noureddine al-Labbad and his brother Imad al-Labbad were killed in their home in the southern Syrian city of al-Sanamayn by unknown assailants.

In the last 48 hours, the Israeli army has seized control of over 10 regions and villages in Quneitra province through advances on three fronts in southern Syria.
