ISWNews Analysis Group: Family of Sudanese soldiers deployed to Yemen and Libya wars gathered to protest in front of UAE embassy in Khartoum.

Protesters say that their family members were deceived by Black Shield company and travel agencies to go work in UAE but then deployed to Yemen and Libya war to fight as UAE mercenaries.

According to Sudan’s military officials, there are 657 Sudanese in Yemen war and most of them left Yemen. Ansar Allah reported the casualties and injured Sudanese in Yemen were almost eight thousand.
There is no confirmed number of Sudanese in Libya and the latest news is of UN report on 9 November 2019 that mentioned there are Sudanese troops in Libya fighting for LNA.
