The Martyrdom of Jamal ‘Affanah from Rafah Who Was Wounded by Israeli Fire in Friday.
Islamic World News Analysis Group: The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced the death of Jamal Abdul Rahman Al Afana (15 years), who was wounded by Israeli fire Friday during his participation in the “Great March of Return” to the east of Rafah Governorate in the southern Gaza Strip.
The number of martyrs since the beginning of the “Great Return March” on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip has risen to 55 citizens, including 7 children, in addition to the injury of about 9000 others by the Israeli occupation forces.
Crowds of mourners carried the body of 15-year-old Palestinian Jamal Afanah through the streets of Rafah on Sunday.
Images shows the crowds as they chant and carry Afanah through the Rafah streets and into homes where mourners kissed the boy and paid their respects.
Maher Yaqoub, an uncle of the Afanah, stated: “We will continue not only tomorrow or after tomorrow but until we get all our rights, our land and our prisoners.”
The “Great March of Return” protests will continue until the 70th anniversary of the occupation of Palestine by Israeli regime in May 25th.
