On August 5, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that a Turkish soldiers, Resat Ergin, was killed during Operation Claw Lock in northern Iraq.

With the death of this Turkish soldier, the number of casualties of the Turkish army in Operation “Claw Lock”, which began in the morning of April 18 increased to 46 servicemen.
