Latest Updates on Yemen 18 August 2018; Front Lines Situation

“Images showing axes of engagement in western coast of Yemen (south of Al Hudaydah).

1. Al Hudaydah:
Engagements of Durayhimi in western, northern and eastern parts of the town. Emirates led forces attack to east of Durayhimi has been unsuccessful so far and village Shajan on east of Durayhimi (according to the Alliance media) has fallen.
Resistance of People’s Committee Forces and AnsarAllah in Durayhimi and if the situation in south of al Hudaydah does not change, Durayhimi is close to fall.
AnsarAllah’s occasional attacks in western suburbs of Jah imposed some casualties to Emirates led forces but did not reduce the intensity of the Coalition’s attack.

2. Firing a missile Badr-1 to Najran

3. Baydha
-Mansoor Hadi’s forces with support of the Coalition in northern axis of Baydha began an operation to occupy Nu`man and Malajim districts.
This attack is from two axes Baydha-Marib and south of Nate`

4. Hajjah
Hiran in north of Hajjah has fallen.
Engagements in suburbs of triangle`Ahem and Hiran.
Possibility of Ansarallah’s attack to reclaim the occupied lands in this axis, since loosing these regions not only means losing the northern part of Hajjah province but also is a threat that a new front opens to north of al Hudaydah and finally losing access to the sea.
