Islamic Resistance In Iraq Shoots Down US Drone In Diyala

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted a MQ-9 drone of the US Army and shot it down in the Miqdadiyah city of Diyala Governorate.
On January 18, a US Army MQ-9 drone took off from Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, around 16:00 local time, and flew into Iraqi airspace.
The US Army drone arrived in Miqdadiyah city in Diyala Governorate around 18:30 in the evening and was targeted and shot down by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq at 18:45.
No further details have been disclosed in this regard, and thus far, no official reactions have been shown by Iraqi and US authorities.
