According to UNAMA, in the first 3 months after the new year, 1293 civilian have been killed and injured as the result of the Afghanistan war. 533 were killed and 760 injured.

1. The peace talks:
– The government of Ashraf Ghani have freed 70 of Taliban prisoners from Herat prison.
– Zabihullah Mujahed the spokesman for Taliban in response to Ashraf Ghani’s government and foreign countries request about establishing ceasefire and to reduce violence in holy month of Ramadan, have called these requests as illogical and opportunistic. He claimed that this group have done its part for establishing peace and ending the war.

2. United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA):
In the first 3 months after the new year, 1293 civilian have been killed and injured as the result of the Afghanistan war. 533 were killed and 760 injured.

3. Takhar:
During the Taliban’s attack against the security forces checkpoint in town of Khwaja Bahauddin, 4 popular movement forces were martyred and 4 injured.

4. Logar:
According to local forces during the Taliban’s attack in the past 24 hour, 18 members of this armed group were killed.

5. Kunduz:
During the attack of Taliban on two towns in Kunduz 15 members of the Taliban were killed.

6. Paktia:
During the Taliban’s attack against the security forces checkpoint in Gardez city 4 police members were killed.

7. Pakistan:
According to the military officials of Pakistan, during a clash with armed persons at Afghanistan border 2 army member and 9 of the militia forces were killed.
