Military Knowledge: Badr-F Missile

The Badr-F missile was officially unveiled and introduced by Yemeni Ansar Allah at the Martyr Saleh al-Sammad exhibition on July 7, 2019.

The missile is adapted from the Russian Tochka missile and has a range of 160 km and explodes at a height of 20 meters above the target. After the explosion, the missile scatters some 14,000 pieces of shrapnel in a circular area with a radius of 350 meters.

The Badr-F ballistic missile has achieved qualitative successes by hitting targets, as several camps of Saudi-led forces inside Yemen and camps in the Saudi border areas. Some of these operations were documented and published at a press conference of the Yemeni Armed Forces.

A statement from the Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman said nine Saudi soldiers and 45 Yemeni mercenaries were killed and dozens wounded in the attack.
