Latest Military Situation In The North Of The Gaza Strip, 18 November 2023 (Map)
Review of the latest developments of frontlines in Gaza City and the north of the Gaza Strip.
▪️ Heavy clashes between the Palestinian resistance groups and the Zionist regime continues in the axes of Al-Rimal, Al-Sheikh Radwan and Al-Tawam in the north of Gaza City.
▪️ The intensity of the attacks on the areas of Al-Zaytun and Tal Al-Hawa in the southwest of Gaza City has increased. According to the latest information, the Israeli forces have made advances in the mentioned axes. It seems that the Israeli military, with massive artillery and air support, intends to advance in these areas and create a new pocket in the south of Gaza city. On the other hand, today, the Israeli army also announced the expansion of its ground operations to all areas and axes, especially to the areas of Jabalia and Al-Zaytoun.
▪️ Israeli forces are advancing slowly in the axis of Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun. Currently, the Israeli occupying forces control about 70% of Beit Hanoun.
▪️ Today in Beit Hanoun and west of Beit Lahia, Al-Quds Brigades fighters targeted a bulldozer and two Israeli tanks with RPG shells. These attacks show that despite the extensive air support and continuous artillery attacks against the resistance positions in Gaza, the Palestinian groups have succeeded to a large extent in maintaining their strength and military structure.
▪️ According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, the siege of Al-Ahli Arabi Hospital by Israeli army continues for the third day in a row. The areas around the hospital are witnessing intense aerial bombardments, and ground battles are also ongoing.
▪️ An interesting point is the continuation of rocket and drone attacks on the occupied territories by Al-Qassam Brigades. These attacks are carried out while Israeli aircraft bombardment and spy drones fly over different areas of the Gaza Strip 24 hours a day.
