The 11th Israeli Airstrike on Yemen (Video)
On July 7, during an operation titled “Black Flag,” Israeli army fighter jets conducted airstrikes on the ports of Hudaydah, Ras Issa, Al-Salif, and the Hudaydah power plant, as well as targeting the Galaxy Leader ship off the coast of Hudaydah.
This operation involved at least 20 airstrikes, although reports indicate that some were intercepted by Yemeni air defense systems. The Yemeni forces claim they countered the Israeli warplanes by launching several surface-to-air missiles.
The Galaxy Leader ship was seized by Yemen on November 19, 2023. This ship has previously been bombed twice by American fighter jets. The Yemeni forces have equipped the ship with radar systems that allow them to intercept any violating vessels in the Red Sea, effectively using the enemy’s own tools against them.
According to statistics gathered by IWN, this marks the 11th airstrike by the Israeli regime against Yemen. These attacks appear to be aimed at intensifying the blockade on Yemen and complicating the entry of essential goods into the ports of Hudaydah.
