Latest ISIS Situation in Eastern Euphrates, 13 February 2019
Islamic World News Analysis Group: After SDF advances in the last stage of Island Storm operation, ISIS terrorists are trapped in one km2 area.
During the last three days, ISIS positions were attacked severely by US Coalition artillery and fighters thus many of them are killed and their families are leaving the area.
The amount of fire on this small area is so high that there are reports of civilians loss.
There are news from inside the area that ISIS executed 25 members because they wanted to surround to SDF with their families.
From last night so far, airstrikes have halted for civilians to leave the area. Presence of civilians in the area is one of the reasons that clearing the area is slow and ISIS prevents civilians to leave the area. If civilians leave the area, clearing happens at a faster pace.
