Occupation of Northern Iraq by Turkey

After northern Syria, more than 20km of Iraq’s soil is occupied by Turkey.
After several months of Turkey’s entrance to northern Iraq in order to start an operation against PKK, media sources say that Turkey’s forces are doubled.
After spreading some pictures in these past months about establishing several bases & entering heavy machines by Turkey in northern Iraq, Bin Ali Yeldrim, PM of Turkey declared that his country overall has 11 bases in this region of Iraq (Iraqi Kurdistan).
According to the news, the operation of Turkey’s armed forces against PKK in regions of Khakork, Ghara, Matina, Zabb, Kanirash, Qandil and Awashin in northern ebril of Iraq which is under the control of Peshmerga forces which are backed by Barzani.
Regarding to this matter, Sulaiman Soylo, Turkey’s Minister of Interior, stated that “Taking Qandil back is not unreachable for us anymore, we took control of many points in northern Iraq, in Khakor front.
