Turkey and Russia Negotiations in Moscow; What Happened to Manbij?!
Islamic World News Analysis Group: Saturday Russian and Turkish Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs met in Moscow to talk and discuss about Syria.
Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs in a joint press conference with Sergey Lavrov Russian counterpart stated that we have similar intent and close collaboration with Tehran and Moscow to clear Syrian soil from terrorists completely.
Sergey Lavrov stated that we have reached agreement on joint military move of two counties.
It was also stated that topics such as implementing Astana summit and de-escalation zone agreement, refugees situation, US. withdrawal from Syria and etc. were discussed.
No information were given about Manbij in press conference!
While the main issue in the meeting was Manbij issue and future response of Turkish Army regarding the developments in the area.
So we should wait and see how possible agreement is implemented on Syrian land.
