Commemoration ceremony of the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Hajj Qasim Soleimani and Hajj Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes in Sanaa + Images

In this ceremony, the Grand Mufti of Yemen, “Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din” praised the martyred commanders for their role for the unity the Islamic Ummah and emphasized their role in thwarting the plans of the colonial enemies in Iraq and the Levant, as well as supporting Palestine.

“Suleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes offered their lives on the way to Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Al-Sharif Mosque,” said Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Habtour, the prime minister of the Yemeni Salvation Government.

He added: “Our alignment for fight against colonial domination is an objective necessity for freedom and independence. Puppets of the region, with their secret relations and ties with the Zionist regime, will not be an obstacle to our struggle for the liberation of Palestine. We are proud that Yemen represents the resistance in the true sense of the word, under the leadership of Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin al-Houthi. The resistance that started in Tehran, passes through Baghdad and reaches Damascus, Beirut, Gaza and to Sanaa.”

Mr. Hassan Irloo, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Yemen, said: “Today, Yemen is the beating heart of the Resistance Front and the superior hand in the axis of resistance, and this is a hope for the world.”

He added: The dimensions of the sacrifices of the Yemeni people have a great impact on the geopolitical level of the region, and thanks to these sacrifices, they will become a great regional power.

“The axis of resistance has not been weakened by the martyrdom of two commanders, Haj Qassem Soleimani and Haj Abu Mahdi Al-Mohandis, and there is a lot of evidence for this,” Irloo said.

Iran’s ambassador to Yemen emphasized: “The history of Yemen is full of scenes of confrontation, jihad and resistance, and the martyr leaser Sayyid Hussein Badruddin al-Houthi, revived these values, and the thought of resistance has continued with Sayyid leader Abdul Malik Badruddin al-Houthi. Yemen thwarted the colonialism and Zionism plans by resisting against aggression and siege.”

Irloo to U.S: “The United States must understand that its presence in the region is over and that the Resistance Front will continue on its path with strong will and determination, and the Soleimani’s nightmare will haunt the Americans.”
