Baghdad Situation Calm, Reportedly
ISWNews Analysis Group: Sayyed Ahmad Al Safi, representative of Ayatullah Sistani, in Friday prayers in Karbala demanded real reforment in Iraq.
Sayyed Ahmad Al Safi emphasized that judicial system and observing departments in Iraq are not fighting corruption enough and if this situation continues, there is no hope in improvement of the situation and solving the problem.
Also last night Iraqi Prime Minister talked with people and reported that legal committees are formed to make sure violence is not used against protestors. He added, the government has started economic reforms to provide job for youths and is sending a bill to parliament to keep low income families under welfare.
Adil Abdul-Mahdi said that some of the slogans heard from the protests shows some are trying to abuse and exploit political purposes.
