ISWNews Analysis Group – Military forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have carried out specialized air defense exercises codenamed Modafe”an-e Aseman-e Velayat 1401 (The Defenders of Velayat Skies 1401).

ISWNews Analysis Group: The 11th joint air defense exercise of Modafe’an-e Aseman-e Velayat was held in the central desert region of Iran.

ISWNews Analysis Group: The joint air defense drill, codenamed ‘Modafe’an-e Aseman-e Velayat 99′, kicked off on October 21st with participation of the IRGC aerospace force, Army’ Air Force and the Air Defense Force in the Semnan region.
