The fighter jets of Ukrainian army attacked Russian army’s ships off the coast of Sevastopol by firing several Storm Shadow cruise missiles and three naval drones.
Storm Shadow cruise missile is a medium-range, stealth air-launched cruise missile that weighs 1,300 kg and has a maximum range of 560 km. The origin of this missile goes back to UK and France; But since 2001, it has been produced by MBDA, a European multinational missile developer and manufacturer.
During the Ukrainian army’s attack on Berdyansk airport on June 30, a Storm Shadow cruise missile was shot down by Russian air defense systems.
