The Possibility of Establishing a New “Observation Post” in the North of Latakia by Turkey.

On May 16, the Turkish army with sending a big military convoy to south of Jisr al-Shughur, established a new observation post on “Ishtabraq Mountain”.

Today, another Turkish military convoy and equipment entered the territory of Syria from the Kharbat al-Jaws border crossing to complete the “Istabraq mountain observation post”.

Along with this military convoy a reconnaissance group entered in Syria and went to Akrad Mountain to investigate the possibility of establishing a new “Observation Post” in north of Lattakia.

At the same time, the Syrian army artillery bombarded the Tofahiya in militant-held area in the north of Latakia; some sources believe this as a warning to the Turkish convoy.
