Saudi Coalition Repelled Ansar Allah’s Attack to Qatabah City
ISWNews Analysis Group: Ansar Allah’s attacks to liberate Qatabah city were failed due to heavy resistance by Saudi-led Coalition forces.
Yesterday Ansar Allah forces attacked Qatabah from Shakhab and Hamar areas to reclaim the city from the Saudi Coalition forces and could enter the city and control a large area of the city. But after a few hours and heavy engagements, they were forced to retreat from the city.
Al Jamimah mountain has a good overlook over the city and makes it difficult for Ansar Allah to advance. At the moment Qordih in north of the city and Hamar area in the west are under control of Ansar Allah and there is a possibility of Ansar Allah attacking again.
It is noteworthy that in the recent engagement in Qatabah, 3 high rank commanders of fourth brigade of Mansoor Hadi were killed.
