Map: Turkish Observation Post Under Siege by the Syrian Army!

ISWNews Analysis Group: Following the Syrian Army operation southeast of Idlib province, eight new villages have been cleared of the presence of Tahrir al-Sham terrorists and other radical groups.

The villages and areas liberated since last night are as follows: Harran, Tal Harran, Sarjah, al-Burj, Tal Homs, Tal Dam, Abu Shraji, Qatra, Bostan and al-Harraki.

Syrian Army advancements in the southeast of Idlib province are on two main axis, and according to the advance model, most likely we will see another Turkish observation post under SAA siege soon!

Earlier, during the liberation of Khan Sheikhun, one of the Turkish observation post in the Morek area was besieged with a similar tactic by the Syrian Army. Interestingly, after the liberation of the area, the Turkish army has not retreated from the Morek observation post!
However, its not known yet that after the liberation of al-Surman area, whether the Turkish army continues to insist on its pride and will remain in the area under the control of the Syrian Army like Morek observation post in southern Khan Sheikhun or will evacuate…

    The Turkish OP are really fortified garrisons – OP T-9 (morek) was bypassed by SAA and remains supplied and functional. OP T-8 (Surman) is not “besieged ” – again SAA will not attack just pass by as these OP are by Sochi agreement/Astana protocols of 2018.
