ISWNews Analysis Group: In recent days, the western and southwestern fronts of Aleppo have witnessed widespread clashes between the Syrian Army and Tahrir al-Sham terrorists and other radical groups but the contact lines remained untouched.
The Syrian Army liberated the villages of Maar Shorin and Zaalana in the northeast of Maarat al-Numan, and then crossed the Aleppo-Damascus highway, and the villages of al-Dana and Babila came under the control of the Syrian Army. Earlier this morning, the village of Sawami’h was also liberated from militants occupation.
Right now engagements in Wadi al-Zayf and east of Maarat al-Numan are continuing.
Following the Syrian Army advances in the Idlib province, Talmenes and Maar Shamsha in the east of the strategic city of Maarat al-Numan were liberated from the occupation of Tahrir al-Sham terrorists and its allies.

Hence the distance of Syrian Army forces from the strategic city of Maarat al-Numan reduced to less than 3 kilometers.
