On October 15, Hebrew sources have reported that armed clashes have occurred between Palestinian resistance fighters and Israeli military forces in the kibbutz of Nir Am near the city of Sderot in the occupied Palestinian territories.
On the fifth day of the fighting, the Palestinian resistance groups launched another attack from the northern axis of the Gaza Strip to the town of Sderot and the Zikim area.
