The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has declared in a statement that Ibrahim Muhammad Qubaisi, known as Hajj Abu Mousa, a commander in the resistance group’s missile unit, was martyred in a terrorist assault carried out by Israeli military aircraft in the Ghobeiry municipality, located in southern region of the Lebanese capital city Beirut.

On Friday, the Israeli regime targeted a residential area in the Dahieh area of Beirut city. The attack killed at least 14 people including Ibrahim Aqil, a senior Hezbollah commander.

In three rounds of heavy rocket strikes, the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah pounded the Israeli regime army’s positions at the Ramat David Air Base and the facilities of the Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. in the southeastern and northern suburbs of the port city of Haifa.

31 people, including 15 members of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, were martyred in an airstrike by the Zionist regime on a building in the Dahieh area of Beirut.

In response to the recent assassination of the top commander of the Lebanese resistance movement Fuad Shukr, Hezbollah targeted the Israeli army’s positions in the settlements of northern occupied Palestine as well as military bases in the occupied Golan Heights with a large number of suicide drones and rockets early on Sunday morning.

The Israeli army and Lebanese Hezbollah continue to exchange artillery fire on a daily basis in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah attacks Israeli army positions and bases in the region using light rockets, suicide drones, and anti-armor missiles.

The security situation in the northern borders of occupied Palestine is still tense, and there is a possibility of a large-scale ground conflict at any moment. After the recent assassinations, the Israeli regime has increased the number of its special units and military forces near the borders of Lebanon due to the possibility of retaliatory attacks by Iran and Hezbollah. Additionally, new concrete trenches have been constructed in the border areas and more equipment has been deployed to the borders.
