Zalmay Khalilzad, former U.S. envoy for Afghan peace, has arrived in Kabul on a new visit and met with Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Taliban’s foreign minister.
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of the Taliban, held a high-level meeting yesterday with Shaher Al-Taqi, CEO of Saudi Arabia’s Delta International, and Zalmay Khalilzad, former U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan.

Few hours ago the news of an E-11A aircraft crash in Deh Yek, Ghazni province was broadcasted. It was stated that the aircraft was military and had between ten to 85 crew. However, the capacity of this model is about 20. Then Zabihullah Mujahid, Taliban’s spokesperson took the responsibility in a statement.
US gave Taliban 10 days deadline for the ceasefire to continue the talks. Some Taliban sources said that they don’t accept any ceasefire before the agreement.
