ISWNews Analysis Group: US drones bombed Al-Shabaab positions on the outskirts of Galkayo town, the capital of the north-central Mudug region of Somalia.
ISWNews Analysis Group: Al-Shabab group targeted US, Kenyan and Somali troops with a car bomb in the village of Jana Abdalle, killing 2 members of Somali Special Forces and wounding 1 US military service member.
ISWNews Analysis Group: At least 17 people were killed when the al-Shabab forces invaded the Elite Hotel in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
Harakat al-Shabaab took responsibility of terrorist explosion on Saturday in a checkpoint in Mogadishu. In this attack more than 90 people lost their lives.
ISIS coming from Iraqi al Qaeda at the beginning was limited to vast areas in Syria and Iraq. After being defeated from Islamic Resistance, it is active in other parts of Islamic world from Yemen to North Africa and Middle Asia. Thus two possibilities are considered regarding ISIS future activity domain: Afghanistan and Africa.
That Africa has a better situation for ISIS compared to Afghanistan.
