With Saudi air support, forces of Yemen’s government-in-exile have taken control of the provinces of Abyan and Aden.
The Southern Transitional Council (STC) forces withdrew from some of their positions in Al-Buraiqeh district as well as the Presidential Palace in Aden city towards Al-Sulban military base and Ba Tays village in Abyan Governorate.
The Yemeni city of Aden has entered another period of insecurity and armed clashes between militant groups and some power-mongering commanders since Friday evening.
