The Israeli regime’s army are carrying out heavy attacks on various axes in southern Lebanon, from the Shebaa Farms to the Mediterranean coast. Fighters of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah are attempting to neutralize the regime’s attacks with rocket and artillery strikes in addition to ground defense.
The Israeli regime’s army keeps on its strikes to advance in the axes of Kfarkela and al-Udaysah, Meis El Jabal and Blida, Maroun al-Ras and Yaroun, as well as Naqoura, using four divisions supported by air raids from fighter jets as well as reconnaissance and combat drones.
On October 4, the Zionist army targeted the Al-Masna border crossing road near the border region of Lebanon and Syria.
Late on October 2, Israeli military aircraft pounded various districts in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital city Beirut during an aerial operation.
On the first day of the ground operation of Israeli military forces into Lebanese territory, eight troops and commandos from the occupying regime were killed, and dozens more were wounded.
In an air raid by the Israeli army on the Mezzeh municipality of the Syrian capital city Damascus, three civilians were martyred and three others were wounded.
The Israeli army’s infantry finally started their movement and tried to infiltrate to al-Udaysah area. But, Hezbollah fighters thwarted their attempts in direction of Khalat al-Mahafir in south of al-Udaysah and killed at least two Israeli soldiers (Cpt. Eitan Itzhak Oster and Daniel Azzam) and wounded more than 20 others.
The Israeli regime’s ground attack on Lebanon and Syria is a significant and dangerous threat. The probability of its occurrence increased greatly after the recent developments in the region, especially after the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh and Seyed Hassan Nasrallah. Now, with the provision of all the necessary conditions, the Zionist regime appears to be seeking to start the third Lebanon war.
The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has declared in a statement that Ibrahim Muhammad Qubaisi, known as Hajj Abu Mousa, a commander in the resistance group’s missile unit, was martyred in a terrorist assault carried out by Israeli military aircraft in the Ghobeiry municipality, located in southern region of the Lebanese capital city Beirut.
On Friday, the Israeli regime targeted a residential area in the Dahieh area of Beirut city. The attack killed at least 14 people including Ibrahim Aqil, a senior Hezbollah commander.
In three rounds of heavy rocket strikes, the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah pounded the Israeli regime army’s positions at the Ramat David Air Base and the facilities of the Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. in the southeastern and northern suburbs of the port city of Haifa.
31 people, including 15 members of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, were martyred in an airstrike by the Zionist regime on a building in the Dahieh area of Beirut.
